Why won’t TurboTax transmit my return?
Unplug or turn off your modem (and router, if you have one). Once the modem is ready, plug in or turn on your router if you have one. Again, wait until the lights indicate that it is powered up, detected the network, and that it is in a “ready” status. Restart your computer, reopen TurboTax, and try e-filing again.
Why is my Turbo Tax not up to date?
Typical error messages include “Error create firewall rule (s)!” or a generic statement such as “executable has encountered a problem.” Only the TurboTax version for the current tax year can be updated – you cannot update a copy you purchased for a previous year because state and federal tax laws change from one year to the next.
What to do if you forgot your Turbo Tax password?
If you cannot log into Turbo Tax at the Sign In screen, go down to I forgot my TurboTax User ID or password. If you can log into TurboTax successfully, then you can check your account with Turbo Tax by using this link. It will take you to Account Recovery, where you can update your information.
How do I view my completed 2018 return on Turbo Tax?
To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account – Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show . Click on the Year and Click on View adjusted gross income (AGI)
Do you have to sign consent to use TurboTax?
Generally, tax preparers, such as TurboTax, must obtain your signed consent on paper or electronically before they can disclose your tax return information to anyone or use it for any purpose other than preparing and filing a tax return.
