Do all college students get a 1098 T?
Not all students are eligible to receive a 1098-T. Forms will not be issued under the following circumstances: The amount paid for qualified tuition and related expenses* in the calendar year is less than or equal to the total scholarships disbursed that year.
Will my college send me a 1098 T?

When do I get my 1098t form from the University?
Beginning with the 2018 tax year, the university began reporting Box 1 Payments, and NOT Box 2. A 1098-T form is automatically mailed to students with a U.S. citizenship status of native, naturalized, or permanent resident on university records. As required by law, your 1098-T statement will be mailed by January 31st of the following year.
