Log in to the ‘e-filing’ portal Go to the tab ‘My Account’ located on the top left-hand side of the page. Under the ‘My Account’ tab, choose ‘Service Request’. Under ‘Service Request’, choose ‘Request Type’ as ‘New Request’.
What if my bank account is wrong on my tax return?
You incorrectly enter an account or routing number and the number passes the validation check, but your designated financial institution rejects and returns the deposit to the IRS. The IRS will issue a paper check for the amount of that deposit once it is received.
Can a bank account be changed on a tax return?
If you have already filed and submitted your tax return you are unable to edit the bank account information once the return has been accepted. If your return has been filed and submitted and rejected then you are able to change the information, just follow the steps above.
How long does it take to change bank account info?
Hopefully we will get an opportunity to change our info before they put us in the queue for a paper check and have to wait (up to) five months. How? I created account but there is no place saying you can change the info

Same brother. Ova here panicking Its strange that they are releasing the update page AFTER they send out initial payments, which makes me feel like they may not have a solution for us after all if you have switched bank accounts.
Can you change the method of tax refund?
